Lenka Olšanová is a Czech actress, speaks English and French, and she is artistic a member of Prague Shakespeare Company, professional English speaking theatre and ImproBabble Improv Comedy Group. She was a member of The Bear Educational Theatre.
In 2022 she was casted as english speaking female lead role Betty in upcoming web series American Ghost Hunter in Prague S1.
From 2016 You could see Lenka on TV in a Czech TV , Nova series and Prima TV series: Doktoři z Počátků, Strážmistr Topinka , Ordinace v Růžové Zahradě, Modrý Kód ,Keto Diet commercial, Ahmad Tea Commercial etc. and Czech Lion awards winning Tv series Spravedlnost . You can also see Lenka as Lady in waiting role in feature film Ophelia( 2018) with Naomi Watts, Clive Owen and Daisy Ridley.
In PSC she also participated as a teaching assistant and an assistant director of the Education programe and Production Class under the lead of American actress and director Bree Welch.
After the Prague Summer Shakespeare Festival you could see Lenka at the Estates Theatre in Prague as Jane Shore in the PSC's production of Richard III, and in unusual Czech/English production of the Winter's Tale.
In Kolowrat Theatre she's been in other English productions such as Coriolanus or the Twelfth Night.
You can see her again in January 2017 in Kolowrat as one of the leading parts, Countess of Salisbury, in Shakespeare's Edward III.
All these shows are produced by Prague Shakespeare Company and are performed in original Old English.
With the Twelfth Night production she performed in the Main Street Theatre in Houston USA, where she stood on stage with her Excellency British Ambassador Jan Thompson and Gregory Gudgeon, an actor from the famous Globe Theatre. She tours with the Bear Educational Theatre to Poland, France, Germany or Belgium.
She studied at Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno and at the International Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She still gains new experience by visiting classes and workshops, amongst others she attended the Masterclass with Nancy Bishop (CSA) and Bernard Hiller. She studies acting in French language with a Prague based Frech actress Heléne Genet.
From the 2010 she's taught more than 900 students acting in fron of camera and audition preparation for talent agencies such as A-casting, Talent Company , artistic agency Ambrozia and her own project :Před Kamerou leading with cinematographer Miloslav Holman( FAMU) and director Radim Špaček (FAMU)
In 2022 She was working as an acting coach for upcoming series Anna is Missing (Bionaut)
